Who edits and under which rules

Card Drawer is an independent editorial desk that publishes catalog-style notes on how household surveys, census supplements and related instruments file platform work and secondary earnings. It is not a personalized advice outlet and not a placement service.

How topics are chosen

The agenda prioritizes public documents with an explicit method: statistical agency supplements, papers that use survey or administrative data, and measurement guidelines from international organizations. Pieces that frame outcomes, that rest only on anecdote, or that cannot be verified against a named source are set aside.

A topic enters the catalog when it supplies a measurable definition (what counts as platform-mediated income, which unit is observed, which period is covered) and when that definition can be contrasted with at least one documented methodological limit.

Citation and critique

Each note names the primary source and states sample, period and definition limits on the same page. When findings are contested in the literature, that contestation appears in the same paragraph as the claim. Secondary summaries are used only when they point back to a citable original.

Advertising and commercial relationships

When advertising or other commercial relationships appear, they are described without presupposing a reader’s labor or financial situation. Card Drawer does not present content as a method that produces earnings or employment.

Corrections

Factual errors are corrected on the affected page when verified. Material corrections may also be noted by email reply when a correspondent supplied the original notice. Requests go to [email protected].

What this desk does not do

Card Drawer does not publish testimonials, reviews or before-and-after narratives. It does not diagnose individual cases, estimate personal income effects or operate crisis services.
